Some Palm Stuff

I have recently acquired a new gizmo for the bargain price of £350. Yes, I've finally upgraded my PDA. It comes in very useful for my work (honestly..). The only ones worth getting are the Palm OS ones because they don't use up as much memory to operate and work well with macs (as well as not crashing half as much). Previous to this Treo 650, I had a Tungsten T and before this, a Sony Clié.
Read on to find out some hints'n'tips and links to great web resources (virtually all downloaded software on my Palm is freeware - another reason to Not buy a Windows CE machine {virtually no software is free - and stuff that is isn't very useful}).

The new Treo doesn't use Graffiti (but has the ability to do so with third party software), but here are some simplified Graffiti letters to practice. Start at the dots and work around...

Of course, I don't strictly adhere to the above, I actually write '9' in the number area instead of 'E' because even though the strokes are simpler, it's more intuitive to write them as normal (in the same way that I do write a normal 'h' for H). Similarly, you could draw a complete circle starting at 6 o'clock and going clockwise (rather like an upside down 'O') instead of 'D', but actually writing it as above seems easier to me.
